As the Scholarly Communications Consultant at the University of Melbourne, my work focuses on promoting and supporting open scholarship and other aspects of scholarly publishing. I have recently led and co-led projects expanding the library's support of open educational resources (OERs). I have worked in academic libraries for over 14 years, during which time I have also been a graduate researcher, sessional teaching associate, book editor, conference organiser, and editor-in-chief of an open access journal. My own research has focused on ethics, utopia, and science fiction, with an interest in nineteenth-century Australian popular fiction. Avid knitter and cat enthusiast.
