In the first image, a child in an arboretum located on the unceded lands of the Multnomah and Clackamas peoples intentionally changes the way he views a familiar grassy meadow through the experimental use of binoculars.

In the second image, a child is listening to Underground radio on the Lands of the Middle Chinookian Tribes of the Clackamas and Cascades peoples. Underground radio is the collaborative audio production of a group of children (including herself) and local artists who called themselves Friends of the Secret Underground.

The third image of this triad depicts a child at a summer a Maker Camp on the stolen lands of the Umatilla, Walla Walla, and Clackamas people, who built an “art-bot” and asked it to reveal its gender to him on a large paper where he had listed gender possibilities. This child was engaged in a double speculation, that: 1) art-bot had a gender, and 2) art-bot could reveal or determine this gender by using the gender board he created for this purpose.
