Baby Biotics was a randomised controlled trial of the probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri DSM19738 for the treatment of infant colic. The trial concluded the probiotic to be ineffective in both breastfed and formula fed infants with colic in Melbourne, Australia. Infants were followed up 2-3 years later for behavioural outcomes.
